Veil - The veil that the woman wears means that she is modest and pure. Holy Bible - The couple is committed to hearing about God's word, and Jesus will always be with them. Doves - The doves that are released by the couple symbolise a new beginning.

Holy Orders Celebration When someone receives the Sacrament of Holy Orders, they are now officially a priest.
The Symbols of Holy Orders Oil - The person is anointed with oil by the bishop. The oil strengthens the new priest. Laying of Hands - The bishop calls down the Holy Spirit by laying his hands over everyone. Candles - The light from the candles is the light of Jesus, that means the he is there at the celebration. Cross - There is a cross at the ceremony of Holy Orders, as Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. Dove - The Dove represents the peace that the person is given when they receive this Sacrament.
